If so, then you just might be the junior explorers we are looking for at this FAMILY FUN NIGHT at the Museum. Peer through the darkness and discover walls lined with animal pelts of the past, see several deer species nose to nose, and if you can bear it, just around that corner may be 10 foot Polar bear just waiting to meet you. Leap into the Museum is an educational program and family fun night with hands-on experience, all sorts of adventure, and lots of fun.     YOU’RE INVITED to the Montgomery Zoo and Mann Wildlife Learning Museum’s 44th Annual Zoo Weekend Saturday and Sunday, March 7-8, 9am - 6pm daily. During this two-day event the Montgomery Zoo is transformed into an amazing carnival like atmosphere for everyone to enjoy, with entertainment two stages, games, rides, bouncy houses, giant inflatable slides, pony and camel rides, petting zoo, animal encounters, and much more. Zoo Weekend is our biggest fundraiser of the year. All event proceeds from this event will be contributed to the construction of a new reptile facility with its featuring animals including the critically endangered, Indian Gharial, Komodo Dragon, and King Cobra.     Dino Dig Education Program, March 14, 10am – 12pm (noon). Are you ready to get a little dirty? Then Dino Dig is perfect for you. Our junior explorers get to experience an archaeological dig, discover bones from the past and have a great time while learning about creatures that roamed the earth millions of years ago. Dino Dig is an educational program with hands-on experience and fun. This program is geared for boys and girls aged 4-10 years old. Dino Dig is a combination of fun-filled and insightful educational program packed with a classroom lesson plan, real dig time (getting dirty), live animal presentations, and everyone leaves with a take-home, keepsake goody bag.
